Almah are a Brazilian progressive/power metal band who were formed as a side project by vocalist Edu Falaschi, who have developed into a full-time band. Although their last releases got mixed reviews I have to say I loved this third album and this is by far their best album!

The album is much heavier than their previous releases and with great heavy vocals, melodies and fantastic guitar riffs and solos, I found myself wanting to listen to this album immediately after it ended. As soon as you hear this album you can hear the diversity of the vocals, and the different directions this album goes in, and I have to say it works really well with every track bringing something new and different.

‘Motion’ really will appeal to so many metallers in all genres as there are many surprises in the tracks that will appeal to other metal fans, even those who haven’t liked progressive metal in the past. Despite there are some tracks that clearly stand out more than others, I have to say I loved them all.

This is a great powerful album which has an immense impact. With great rhythms and sound throughout this really is an album for all metal fans out there, but don’t just take my word on it….

go check it out!
