Age Of Evil
Get Dead (E.P.)
January 2010
Released: 2009, Independant Rating: 3.0/5 Reviewer: Celtic Bob Age Of Evil are 2 sets of brothers who’s families have been friends since the band members were kids (just a few years ago and probably since this site began). GET DEAD is comprised of 6 songs; 2 of which are covers and 2 of which are live so we get an accurate glimpse as to what Age Of Evil are all about. Musically they have allot going for them as they are decent players. Their choice of covers (Priest and Skid Row) show us where their influences lie. They chose songs from both bands strongest periods. Vocalist Jeremy Goldberg does an excellent job singing for the most-part but when he tries his hand at the heavier material on “Glimpse Of Light” it begins to fall apart a bit. He should stick to nothing heavier than “Slave To The Grind” until he develops a stronger voice. Allot of potential. Looking forward to hearing a full length follow-up with all new studio material in the future. Next review: » Age Of Evil - Get Dead EP Previous review: » Agathodaimon - Serpent's Embrace
