@ The Classic Grand, Glasgow
8th April, 2016
Interview by Pete Mutant
With special guests VADER, DIVINE CHAOS and WITCHES
live at The Underworld Camden, London
September 21st 2015
Review & Photography by Fernando Bonenfant
The opening act of the night were WITCHES; a French death metal band from Antibes. Witches, formed in 1986 are first French band with female guttural voice. They have been touring with bands like SIX FEET UNDER and EMTOMBER and were a perfect act to open for this old Skool extreme metal night.

This will be another trek that promotes the latest release of the band “Tibi Et Igni”, which was released worldwide by NUCLEAR BLAST – 5/30/15. The tour will take place in the second half of June 2015 and will cover mainly Russia and Belarus.
The last VADER’s invasion of these lands took place in 2012. Expect the songs from the new album in the set list, but you can be sure that band’s classics won’t be missed also!
Soon we will announce a detailed schedule with dates and cities that VADER is going to attack right before the festival season.
More information coming soon!
Steelfest 2014 – Hyvinkää Finland
Pictures by Arto Lehtinen
Steelfest has carved its immortal marks onto the metal festival map in Finland and managed to pull through these hard times whereas other festivals have collapsed. An extremely strong line-up offered killer bands from the front lines of the death/black metal genre. Even though the festival is kind of small, it has an intimate feel passionate towards extreme metal. Metal bangers have also found the festival as the fest was completely sold out. Over 3000 maniacs visited the fest during the weekend, enjoying the metal at its best. Hail! The Metal-Rules.com team spent the whole weekend at Steelfest, witnessing killer bands…

Polish Death Metal legends VADER have release the brand new track “Triumph of Death” here. The song comes from their upcoming blasterpiece Tibi Et Igni, which is set to be released May 30 (EUR), June 2 (UK/France) June 10 (North America) via Nuclear Blast.
Recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland, produced by Wojtek and Slawek Wiesławski, and featuring artwork byJoe Petagno (MOTÖRHEAD, KRISIUN), Tibi Et Igni pre-order bundles featuring an exclusive t-shirt design for North America are available from the Nuclear Blast USA Webshop.
Guitarist/vocalist Peter W. of Polish extreme metallers VADER discusses “Go To Hell” and “Where Angels Weep,” the first two tracks on the band’s twelfth studio album, TIBI ET IGNI, due out in North America on June 10th.

Polish extreme metal band VADER have entered Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland to record their twelfth studio album, TIBI ET IGNI. The Wiesławski Brothers, Wojtek and Slawek, will share duties at the production helm.
“VADERMANIAX!!!! The next chapter, a new bible for all those hungry for extreme massacre and dark challenges is called: TIBI ET IGNI,” states VADER mainman Peter W. “Translated from Latin, this pretty symbolic title is ‘For You (and only You) and Fire.’ Ten songs + bonuses are in the plans to be created. We’ll record all of these bloody tracks of new incarnations. Today we’re calibrating the heavy weapon for James [Stewart, drummer], so his drumming can your blow heads off your necks. More details soon. Will we set anxiety in your minds? We’ll film the recording process to show the whole thing in a while. Of course, we’ll keep you informed about each next step in recordings regularly. STAY ALERTED!!!!”
After a 3-year lull since their last trek west, Poland’s extreme metallers VADER are returning to the U.S. to headline the “Back To The Black 2013” tour with Vital Remains, Sacrificial Slaughter, Execration, and Extremely Rotten. The tour launches on September 6th in Santa Ana, California and boomerangs back to The Whisky in Hollywood, California for the tour-closing show on September 29th.
While VADER’s headlining set will definitely include selections from 2011’s Welcome To The Morbid Reich, frontman/guitarist Peter W. states the band will reach as far back as 1994’s Sothis EP to satisfy long-time fans.
SWEDENROCK FESTIVAL 2013
Article and pictures by Arto Lehtinen and Marko Syrjälä
“Welcome to the show” – welcomed by KISS when headlining the second day of the Sweden Rock fest. Well, once again the Finnish Metal-Rules.com team made their annual roadtrip to Sweden Rock. Metal Rules has covered Swedenrock since 2001, therefore it is quite logical to cover the festival again. The 2013 line up presented a wide range of metal and hard rock. Over 70 metal and rock bands offered one hell of an experience for attendees. Sweden Rock has been successful during the past ten years as the festival has always been sold out. This year wasn’t any exception as the fest was sold out despite the lousy economic situation worldwide. It has become quite logical for us to give an in depth article on several bands performing at Sweden Rock to all the readers out there. The weather was tremendous during these four days. The Metal-Rules.com team was there witnessing bands, not for having some beach party crap. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover every bloody band, but hopefully you will have a pleasant reading experience… Rock on!

8th Februrary 2013
Review by Caitlin Smith
Photography by Jo Blackened
It was a cold day outside the Underworld when the sign went up at the box office, sold out! It’s only 5.30pm and doors have only just opened, but already disappointed fans were being turned away.
The mighty Jalometalli Open Air Metal festival strikes back once again with a killer line-up to maintain its metallic lofty status on the Finnish festival map. The festival is known for relying on an old school metal approach offering traditional metal to extreme metal with classic metal to the extreme black metal. The festival also paid attention to young rising and local bands who played the small third stage. That was unique and thankfully most of the bands sounded killer. The Metal Rules team hit the grounds of Oulu to see several absolutely killer bands. The whole Jalometalli as a festival is so unique and one of kind that anyone reading this article should take a glance at the offering of the festival. Here is a brief article on the fest.
