TALANAS [www.talanas.org], the London-based dark progressive metal act, have been announced as main support for British doom legends My Dying Bride [www.mydyingbride.net] throughout their 2012 UK & European tour following the release of their new album ‘A Map Of All Our Failures’ (EU: October 15th, US: October 16th through Peaceville Records).

The dates are as follows:
Dec 7 – 02 Academy Islington, London (England)
Dec 8 – Nouveau Casino Paris (France)
Dec 9 – Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg (Germany)
Dec 11 – Viper Club Florence (Italy)
Dec 12 – Magazzini Generali Milan (Italy)
Dec 13 – Z7 Pratteln (Switzerland)
Dec 14 – Batschkapp Frankfurt (Germany)
Dec 15 – Eindhoven Metal Meeting Effenaar, Eindhoven (Holland)

Frontman Hal Sinden commented recently:
“To be asked to go on the road with not only such eminent figureheads but the band that provide such a huge influence on our sound is nothing short of mindblowing. As what will undoubtedly be the best dressed tour that Europe will have seen this decade, we look forward to destroying each & every stage as politely as possible.”

TALANAS recently re-entered the London’s Berry Street Studio to commence pre-production for their next album ‘daylight’, the follow-up to 2011’s ‘the waspkeeper’ (released through Eulogy Media) which appeared in the ‘Best Albums’ lists of over 12 separate publications that year including Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Presents Prog & Rock Hard (FR) and which The Guardian newspaper commented as having been overlooked for a Mercury Music Prize

Prior to the My Dying Bride tour, TALANAS will also embark on their own full headline tour of the UK & Ireland throughout November with main support provided by Manchester prog metallers Spires [www.spiresband.co.uk]. Dates are currently being confirmed through Eulogy Media. The video for ‘antiphon’ (from ‘the waspkeeper’, directed by Greg Barnes of ClingFilms) can be watched via
