Imperia is the name of a great goth metal act that recently released their brilliant third album entitled SECRET PASSION. I hooked up with Thomas Hermann, guitarist in Darkseed, this spring to have a talk about the band’s new album POISON AWAITS. The band play goth metal and are considered to be one of the most influential and original German dark metal bands of all time. The band is now doing their comeback and I was really eager to see what they were up to. Amongst a lot of things, we of course talked about the new album, the new members, and Hermann’s role as producer.

Gen Morphine: Guitarist and singer for Sin7Sins

Gen Morphine is the guitarist and one of two singers in the goth metal act Sin7Sins. I sat down and had a chat with Gen because I was really curious about the band and their debut album PERVERSION LTD. The band comes from The Netherlands. Besides Gen Morphine on vocals, there is a female singer called Lotus. If you’re into the goth metal scene then check out Sin7Sins they might be a band in your taste.

HAIL THE HORDE is the name of the brilliant third album by the Danish aggressive thrash metal act The Burning. Since the album was so great I thought it would be nice to hook up with a band member in order to talk about it and to talk about touring Denmark and working with the famous producers Tue Madsen and Jacob Bredahl. I had a really great chat with the bands new guitarist Alex The Kid and here is what we talked about. Denmark has a lot of new metal acts that are coming on strong and The Burning is a brilliant example of one of those acts.

The Swedish rock n rollers in Maryslim have recently released their brilliant third album entitled A PERFECT MESS.
