Florida power metallers SEVEN KINGDOMS have completed work on their latest album, which is titled The Fire is Mine. In May of 2012 the band entered Morrisound Studios to create a record powerful enough to hang with the best in metal. With legendary producer Jim Morris (ICED EARTH, OBITUARY, JOP, JAG PANZER, etc) at the helm and much more experience gained, Seven Kingdoms created their next melodic power thrash opus.
Upon completion of the recording of their new album, Seven Kingdoms signed an extension of their deal with Nightmare Records. The Fire is Mine will be unleashed on October 9th.
The Fire is Mine, the third offering from Seven Kingdoms, shows a great solidification in their sound and direction; they’ve amped up every aspect from song writing, vocals to production and live performance. This one goes to eleven on all counts – including the number of tracks! The vocals and beautiful crystalline melodies of Sabrina Valentine are uniquely set in a furious power/thrash metal attack, blended with epic choirs and the occasional beer-chanting of the men of Seven Kingdoms.
Shortly after the release of their Nightmare Records debut Seven Kingdoms (their second release, but first featuring Sabrina Valentine), Seven Kingdoms played the opening party at ProgPower USA and was then handpicked by the legendary German power metal band BLIND GUARDIAN to open their 2010 North American tour, which saw the band playing in front of thousands of metal fans throughout US and Canada. Seven Kingdoms went on to play several one offs and smaller tours in 2011 ending with the Uniting The Powers Of Metal tour alongside other uprising power metal acts such as ARTIZAN, CREATION’S END and WIDOW. The band capped off 2011 signing endorsement deals with Engl Amplification and Warwick Basses / Amps.

Florida-based SEVEN KINGDOMS are getting ready to enter Morrisound studios in Tampa, Florida with producer Jim Morris (ICED EARTH) to begin recording the follow-up to their 2010 self-titled Nightmare Records release. The 11 track album is still untitled, more info is expected to be released shortly.
Guitarist Camden Cruz commented on the writing process for the new album:
“Fans can expect a more dynamic Seven Kingdoms this time around. We have spent the greater part of a year transposing what we have learned into this new record. It has been since the middle of 2009 since we have written anything together and I really believe that you will hear three more years of experience on this album. It is overall a little bit faster, but not in a thrashy way; it is more in the vein of older school power metal that sometimes seems to be overlooked now days. We have been able to shape something in our “sound” that will set us apart from our forefathers while still being true to the genre. Expect a twin turbo version of our self titled release. The record is the most challenging material we have physically played to date and it has a lot of guitar work on it. Sabrina has even become more herself with this record as we have all grown as musicians. We aim to bring a polished version of what a Modern Day Power Metal Band should sound like. This should be a record that everyone can enjoy from the brand new listener to the most diehard Power Metal fan with more hooks, more shred, more epicness, More In your face double bass, more literal bass, Just more POWER.”
Coinciding with entering the studio, the band has just finished filming their very first official video clip for the new record’s opener, ‘After The Fall’. The band’s first pro video clip, the story is based on…. George Martin’s Game of Thrones, which is also the story which the band’s name is based out of). Ironically, the same type of cameras used for filming the HBO show were also used for the band’s video.
Floridian power metallers SEVEN KINGDOMS has marked June 20th as their first recording date at the legendary Morrisound Studios (SEPULTURA, SAVATAGE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE, MORBID ANGEL, DEATH) in Tampa, Florida.
Commented guitarist Camden Cruz: “We are heading in to Morrisound to track the intro to the album. It will only take a few hours but we are planning on playing a few tracks (along with the intro) from our new material on our headlining show in Atlanta on the Uniting The Powers Of Metal Tour. Atlanta was our favorite stop on the BIND GUARDIAN tour and its going to be awesome to give them a little something extra when we stop there, and we want to make sure its done right. Thanks to all our fans for chipping in to our recording fund at Morrisound Studios and we hope that all though small, this will be the first glorious taste of a very, very big year for us!”
Seven Kingdoms has a recording fund page set up at Morrisound Studios’ website.
Seven Kingdoms has also announced an additional New York date at Sullivan Hall on August 16th to kick off the Uniting the Powers of Metal Tour with CREATION’S END, WIDOW and ARTIZAN.
