The popular American power metal band Reverence, fronted by Todd Michael Hall (Riot, Jack Starr’s Burning Starr), Bryan Holland (Tokyo Blade, Arrest), Steve “Doc Killdrums” Wacholz (founding member of Savatage, Crimson Glory), Pete Rossi (Overland, Sanxtion), Michael Massie (Overloaded, Inner Recipe) are pleased to announce they have signed a three album deal with Japanese label Marquee/Avalon who has released albums from band such as Kamelot, Black Label Society and Manowar (just to name a few). Reverence’s first release through Marquee/Avalon is due to be released this fall. The yet to be titled album will have at least 10 songs with a Japanese bonus track.
Reverence has also released a new clip for the song “Race To Obscene”, which will appear on their up-coming album. Reverence’s second album will follow their first acclaimed release “When Darkness Calls” which was released through Razar Ice Records in 2012. The clip allows fans to get a quick peak of their up-coming album. The trailer also gives fans a glimpse at their song recording process as well.

REVERENCE, the new power metal band featuring vocalist Todd Michael Hall (JACK STARR’S BURNING STARR, HARLET), guitarist Bryan Holland (TOKYO BLADE, ARREST), drummerSteve “Dr. Killdrums” Wacholz (SAVATAGE, CRIMSON GLORY) and bassist Frank Saparti (TOKYO BLADE, OVERLOADED, MINDCANDY).
Working songtitles set to appear on the release include: “Too Late“, “Vengeance Is Mine“, “Gatekeeper“, “Revolution Rising“, “Monster“, “Lost Generation” and “Phantom Road“.
Commented guitarist Bryan Holland:“Leaving my last project has been a blessing in disguise. Todd, Steve, Frank and I have all been on the same page with this project since day one. The songs just started flowing within just days of meeting vocalist Todd Hall and haven’t stopped since. It’ll be fantastic to finally playing with Doc (Steve “Doc. Killdrums” Wacholz), we’ve been friends for 15 years and is my favorite drummer on the planet!”. And I absolutely love sharing the stages with Frank, he’s a madman!!”.
Recording will begin in April at Sight 16 Studios (TOKYO BLADE, TWOTHIRTYSEVEN, PARIS BLUE, COLDSNAP) in Albuquerque, New Mexico with producer Sid Garcia. The band will record 14 songs for the CD, which will be mixed and mastered in May for a tentative fall 2011 release through Razar Ice Records. A fall European tour will follow. The band has also signed on with No-Nonsense Management and Booking.
