Metal Allegiance have released the first lyric video from the upcoming self–titled release available worldwide on September 18th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. “Can’t Kill The Devil” features Chuck Billy on vocals; Alex Skolnick, Phil Demmel & Andreas Kisser on guitars; David Ellefson on bass; and Mike Portnoy on drums. The lyric video for the song impacting radio today can be seen here: https://youtu.be/zjXEXx-mIdc.
“I am very honored to be a part of the Metal Allegiance record. The track ‘Can’t Kill The Devil’ was fun and challenging for me,” states vocalist Chuck Billy. “Working outside of Testament lets me try different things with my voice. I think the fans are going to be singing along to this track for sure.”
Machine Head visited Finland supporting the newest album UNTO THE LOCUST by playing two sold out gigs in a row. Before the four-piece got on the stage at the Circus club in Helsinki I had a pleasant interview session with the band’s guitarist Phil Demmel who was gearing up for the gig. The sixth album UNTO THE LOCUST once again proves the band’s ability to create a murderous groove whipping songs. Phil Demmel tells more about the making process of the album and finally both the interviewer and guitarist try to calculate how many times he has visited Finland.
Machine Head have been effectively crisscrossing the planet during the last three years. The band has constantly visited Finland and ultimately gained a strong and growing fanbase. It was therefore about time to have an interview with the band’s guitarist Phil Demmel as some time has passed by since his previous interview here in Metal-Rules.com. The interview (carried out when Machine Head visited and played with Hatebreed and Bleeding Through) provided a good opportunity to ask about the present, past and future of the band.
