Best Buy and Premiere Networks announced a new multi-platform promotion called Sixx Sense Rock, a partnership curated by Nikki Sixx’s national radio show Sixx Senseto bring the “best rock on the radio” into Best Buy stores. Beginning July 15, a special Sixx Sense Rock branded display will feature a selection of eight rock albums in stores nationwide. In addition, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx and www.SixxSense.com will highlight one of the albums each week for eight weeks.
‘stache media, a marketing/promotion agency, is orchestrating the selection of titles in the Sixx Sense Rock at Best Buy campaign in addition to spearheading all the marketing for the promotion.
Jennifer Leimgruber, Premiere Networks SVP of Programming, stated: “Sixx Sense, now heard in nearly 100 markets nationwide, has proven itself as the new destination for rock music. Both Nikki and Premiere are committed to exposing great rock music to an even wider audience, and together with Best Buy & ‘stache media, we are now reaching the consumer in more ways than ever before.”
Sixx Sense Rock will also feature a bevy of contests for consumers during its eight-week run, the first of which is a chance to win a pair of tickets and a flyaway to see The Tour, featuring Motley Crue and KISS in a city of the winner’s choosing. This contest is currently open until July 31st, details can be found here: www.SixxSense.com/BestBuy.

John Corabi has been a hard working musician for over two decades, building a solid career despite the fact that he has never truly been in a band that has reached worldwide success. There are many famous names like Motley Crue and Ratt in his resume which are widely known among the fans of rock music. John visited once again in Scandinavia with ESP (Eric Singer Project) in last April and we were lucky enough to talk with him about his current activities, past bands and his future plans. Dragonfly Clothing has made great progress in the ultra-competitive clothing market in just a few years. Started by Edward Dada, the company offers a large assortment of rock ?n? roll based clothes, from KISS to The Who and Slayer. But they offer more than just musical related shirts and pants, as seen with their licensing deal with Jack Daniels. I had the opportunity to speak with Edward who gave the lowdown on his company and exactly what they can offer the consumer. You can check out their website at www.dragonflyclothing.com to get a look at what they got.
