Morgana Lefay, who have been inactive since 2007, have been confirmed for an exclusive show at the Sweden Rock Double Cruise in early October. Also confirmed for the Sweden Rock Double Cruise is the legendary Finnish metal band Amorphis.

Former MORGANA LEFAY members Tony Ericksson (guitars), Micke Åsentorp (bass), and Robin Jonsson (drums) have formed a new band working under the banner MAD ME$$IAH. Fronting the band is vocalist Jim Wallenborg.
According to Jonsson they are currently in writing mode, working on demos for the debut album. More details, including the complete line-up, will be revealed as they become available. In the meantime, check out an audio trailer below:

Below is an interview done with Lefay’s drummer, Robin Engstr?m. What precipitated this interview was the rumors I had heard about Lefay being dropped from Noise Records. I wanted to find out what happened and hopefully lay to rest any fears I had about the dissolution of one of my favorite bands!!!

For those of you with your head up your ass, Lefay now have a new CD out entitled …—… (Morse code for S.O.S.) and it’s a must own for any fan of METAL. Tony Eriksson along with Charles Rytk?nen have been plugging away in (Morgana) Lefay throughout most of the 90′s and are still gaining momentum. I jumped at the opportunity to get to speak with Tony about the new Lefay CD, touring and even some info on Lefay’s home-base – Bolln?s, Sweden. There must be something in the water there…
