Comments MEMORY GARDEN on the video clip: “We spent one day in February recording the video for ‘The Evangelist’. It was all shot in a chapel which fit both the song and Memory Garden like a glove. The video contains 2 parallel stories, one with the band playing in the chapel and one where you can follow ‘The Evangelist’ and his flock of sheeps.”

MEMORY GARDEN stream “Doomain” title track

“Doomain” to be released on April 16th

Swedish doom metal act, MEMORY GARDEN, have launched the second single and title track taken off their upcoming album, Doomain, exclusively via the website of Metal Hammer Germany! Head to metal-hammer.de to stream Doomain now!

Doomain was recorded at Annoying Sound Factory and SolnaSound Recording by the band with a little assistance engineering from Mike Wead (KING DIAMOND) during the lead guitar sessions. The mix was done by Dan Swano at Unisound.

The band elaborates: “The recording of Doomain must be the most relaxed album session we’ve ever done. We recorded most of the album ourselves in our own studio and took the time we wanted and needed to get it done. Dan Swano helped us getting the rig together and he provided us with the tools to do it and from there we did it ourselves. The lead guitar sessions were done at SolnaSound Recording by Simon & Mike Wead. When it all was done it was sent to Dan Swano and Unisound for mix and mastering. The final album is amazing and we are so thrilled to get it out to all of you.”

Swedish epic doom metallers MEMORY GARDEN have launched the first single and revealed the cover art for their new album Doomain, out April 16th via Metal Blade Records. Head over to www.metalblade.com/memorygarden to listen to The Evangelist! At the same address, fans can pre-order your copy of the album.

Doomain was recorded at Annoying Sound Factory and SolnaSound Recording by the band with a little assistance engineering from Mike Wead (KING DIAMOND) during the lead guitar sessions. The mix was done by Dan Swanö at Unisound.

Doomain will be released the 12th/15th of April via Metal Blade Records in Europe on vinyl and as a Digi-CD and via all digital music outlets on April 16th in North America.

MEMORY GARDEN complete recording for new album “Doomain”

The album was recorded at Annoying Sound Factory and SolnaSound Recording by the band with a little engineering assistance from Mike Wead (KING DIAMOND) during the lead guitar sessions. The mix was done by Dan Swanö at Unisound.

Metal Blade resigns MEMORY GARDEN and releases new album in early 2013!

Metal Blade Records is happy to announce the signing of Swedish Doomster MEMORY GARDENMEMORY GARDENhave just finished the recordings for their yet untitled new album which is now in the hands of Dan Swanö for mixing purposes.

Comments the band: “We are back where we belong! Memory Garden and Metal Blade Records are finally back together and we are really excited to be a part of the family again and to have them release our new album. The album is almost finished and will be mixed by Dan Swanö for an early 2013 release so better be prepared for another massive dose of Swedish Heavy Doom Metal!”

Hopefully by now some of you have heard of Heathendoom Music, a great indie label from Sweden. Bands such as Memory Garden, Fifth Reason, and T.A.R. all call this label home.
