Wisconsin thrash metallers LAZARUS A.D. are set to hit the road on the band’s first headlining tour with the band taking on local support at each stop. The No Prisoners No Mercy Tour takes the band through NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Baltimore, and more on this 14 date run kicking off in Rochester, NY on July 22. The band’s July 24th stop in Montreal at the Heavy MTL Festival sees the band playing with the likes of KISS, Motörhead, Anthrax, and Children of Bodom just to name a few.
Vocalist Jeff Paulick comments; “Heading back out on the road, finally we are headlining. Are we big enough to headline who knows and who the fuck cares. We finally get a chance to play all the songs we have wanted to play for a long time. This isn’t going to be some shit ass 20 minute set you can count on it. Lazarus A.D. have just returned to the U.S. from their very first European tour! Although they were unfortunately robbed in the UK, they still managed to continue the tour and slay fans with their trademark high energy live show across Europe.
In typical Lazarus A.D. fashion, the band isn’t staying at home in Wisconsin for long – they are heading right back out on the road with none other than the Cavalera Conspiracy! Cavalera Conspiracy is touring to promote their new album, Blunt Force Trauma, which was just released on March 29th. Fans of the Cavalera brothers will no doubt soon become the newest members in the ever-growing ranks of Lazarus A.D. fans worldwide.

LAZARUS A.D. is the most recent casualty in a slew of unfortunate band robberies to claim theft of their personal items and money from their touring van. The incident took place last night in Southampton, UK. After breaking a window to enter the band’s van, the burglars stole roughly $1,500 in cash, all of the bands personal items including Social Security cards, birth certificates, and clothing, and even their personal hygiene items. The band members luckily had their passports in their pockets and their gear inside the venue; otherwise they fear that those items would have been taken as well.
LAZARUS A.D. have many dates remaining on their tour with Bonded By Blood, so having no money or personal items will be a great strain on the band financially and personally. LAZARUS A.D. and MetalInjection.net have just released the first of six exclusive episodes chronicling “The Making of Black Rivers Flow”.The behind the scenes footage for the series was filmed by the band and produced/edited by Clay Cook at Dirty Cheese Design & Development. “This time in the studio, we decided to record what was going on behind the scenes during the recording of Black Rivers Flow,” states bassist and vocalist Jeff Paulick. “We compiled over 50 hours of footage and edited this into six episodes that show you a side of the band rarely ever seen. We hope this gives everyone a deeper understanding of what went into the recording of Black Rivers Flow.”
LAZARUS A.D.’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Black Rivers Flow, was recorded in July and August 2010 at Belle City Sound with Chris Djuricic and was mixed and mastered by James Murphy at Safehouse Production. The album hits stores on February 1st, 2011.

On Black Rivers Flow, everyone stepped up their game; the riffs are heavier, the choruses catchier, and the vocals have improved and been diversified tenfold. We are on a mission to show the world that we are a force to be reckoned with and aren’t thinking about a trend, we’re thinking long term. I think our fans will hear these songs and be blown away. Lazarus A.D. is currently in the studio and Belle City Sound in Racine, WI recording their follow up to The Onslaught. While recording their newest material, the band and Metal Blade Records have launched a contest where fans can create the music video for one of the band’s oldest songs, Last Breath. This song was featured on the band’s original 3 song demo and was written when all of the guys were still in high school.
Bassist/vocalist Jeff Paulick comments: “We are so stoked for this contest. “Last Breath” has been a fan favorite since the get go back in ’05, and we never got a chance to make the video! We can’t wait to see what fans submit, no matter how awesome or ridiculous it may be! We hooked up with ESP for an awesome grand prize, and I think it’s a killer concept for the fans.
