Folk metal favourites Finntroll make a whistle-stop in London to play a one off London show as part of handful of exclusive release shows.  Fans got an extra treat in being able to vote for their favourite song to be played at the gig they were attending, in advance via Facebook.  The top 8-10 most popular being included in the set-list making each gig unique.

SEPULTURA, BELPHEGOR, KEEP OF KALESSIN Live Concert Stream

Legendary Brazilian/American thrashers SEPULTURA will stream their concert on Saturday, May 14 live from The Knitting Factory  in Spokane, WA. Fans can view the show by logging into http://www.livestream.com/theknitspokane that evening starting at 8 PM Pacific / 9 Mountain / 10 Central / 11 Eastern. Tour/label mates BELPHEGOR and KEEP OF KALESSIN will also participate in the stream.

SEPULTURA recently released the cover artwork (attached) for their upcoming album Kairos. Artwork was handled this time around by artist Erich Sayers.

SEPULTURA will release KAIROS, their 12th studio album and Nuclear Blast Records debut, on June 24 (EUROPE) and July 12 (North America). KAIROS was recorded once again at Trama Studios in São Paulo, Brazil and produced and mixed by Roy Z. (JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON, HELLOWEEN). Mastering was handled by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering.

The Swedish Viking gods made their biannual assault on English shores bringing with them some all-star supporting acts and touring behind the ferociously epic TWILIGHT OF THE THUNDER GODS, an album hailed as their best melodic effort since VERSUS THE WORLD. It’s no wonder The Forum was packed to the brim eager to see how the new songs translated live.

The past year has been an incredible metal year here in Finland as several classic well known bands have visited doing two, or even three, gigs. Especially the old school thrash metal bands have gained an entire new fan base as Slayer, Testament, Destruction and now Exodus have all thrashed in front of huge and fanatical crowds.  Exodus finally made it to Finland last year, giving their first lesson of violence in a huge outdoor rock festival. Hypocrisy has been a more constant visitor in Finland and gathered a solid but small following. Putting three bands on the same touring package consisting of three separate metal genres was definitely a brilliant way to combine these different metal styles and have an almost sold out club in the middle of the week.
