Freddy is the only remaining original member in the German thrash metal act Necronomicon who released their debut album back in 1985. Freddy and I talked about the bands seventh album that came out at the beginning of the year called INVICTUS. Besides the new album we also talked about guest appearances on the new album and about the bands past, present, and future. Singer Maike Holzmann – Voices Of Destiny

This is the second time I had the opportunity to interview the young German goth metal act Voices Of Destiny. This time around I had the pleasure to talk to singer Maike Holzmann. Amongst a lot of things we talked about was of course the brand new album called POWER DIVE but also about the bands plans for the future as well as how it was to record the new disc. I spoke to Holzmann at the same time as they were out on tour supporting Epica and naturally we spoke about the life on the road.

Katanga is a German goth metal band with both female and male lead vocals. I had the pleasure to talk to male vocalist Mario a while ago. I hooked up with Thomas Hermann, guitarist in Darkseed, this spring to have a talk about the band’s new album POISON AWAITS. The band play goth metal and are considered to be one of the most influential and original German dark metal bands of all time. The band is now doing their comeback and I was really eager to see what they were up to. Amongst a lot of things, we of course talked about the new album, the new members, and Hermann’s role as producer.
