Brutal Assault – Jaromer Czech

September 19th, 2017

BRUTAL ASSAULT 2017
JAROMER CZECH

The experience at Brutal Assault 2016 was an ultimate great and brilliant one that returning to the festival was definitely a must. It isn’t any wonder why Brutal Assault is an insane credible pleasant fest because of the stellar line-up, a lot of great food,  a wonderful old fortress as a festival area, and above all….cheap beer! This festival easily blows most other festivals away. Once again the line-up  was huge, but still varied, covering a wide range of extreme from the side to the side. All in all 110 bands had once again been booked for the four day metal inferno. Trying to witness as many bands as possible was quite challenging and near impossible. Here is the brief article of the mighty Brutal Assault.

Eluveitie

Deep in the autumnal gloom (read: rain) in the heart of Belfast, the last thing one would expect was a gig featuring not one, but THREE languages other than English. Right? Well, that was exactly what punters got when they ventured out on a rather meh Friday night in November.

Summer Breeze 2014 – Dinkelsbuhl, Germany

November 3rd, 2014

Metal, beer and bratwurst are the unholy alliance at German metal festivals. Those festivals are those things that every banger has to experiment once in lifetime. Even though festivals are packed by those obvious and quaranteed bands on the bill, but missing the true metal feeling is something. Summer Breeze has grown tremendously and gained the monumental status amongst several other metal festivals in Germany. The main headliner of this year was without any doubts Machine Head. The Summer Breeze festival is the well organized metal festival in Southern Germany. Even though most of bands appeal to the metal public, but some strange German acts such as JBO were on the bill. However, Summer Breeze was a great success, despite the horrible weather. Here is the brief article of the fest.

July 23rd, 2014

Swiss folk-metal pioneers, ELUVEITIE, have uploaded a quick teaser clip for the upcoming official music video for their track”The Call Of The Mountains”! Check it out here:

“The Call Of The Mountains” is the second single off their upcoming album, Origins, and the band has recorded it in all four of Switzerland’s beautiful national languages. Check out the multilingual track video (incl. all versions) here:

“This one’s long overdue,” states the band. “Another Origins song you say? Well, yes indeed. Finally, a song about our beautiful mountains? That, too. But also an idea we’ve considered for a number of years now: a song released not just in English and/or Gaulish, but in all four of Switzerland’s beautiful national languages! So we present to you: ‘The Call Of The Mountains’! A song about the long searched for destination at the end of the epic journey of the Celts, who were to become the Helvetians – a song about our mystical and unparalleled alps. Besides the English album version, you will find the full song in Swiss German, French, Italian and of course Romansh both on Nuclear Blast’s mail-order edition and on iTunes, where you will of course be able to get them separately, too. We can’t wait to hear how you like it!” Read the rest of this entry »
