DIVINE HERESY To Tour With FEAR FACTORY

DIVINE HERESY’s pummeling offering, Bringer of Plagues, redefined the meaning of aggression and took extreme to an all new level. The group’s founder Dino Cazares (Fear Factory guitarist) is now pulling double duty as DIVINE HERESY will open all dates on this month’s Fear Factory North American tour. Either see below or head over now to www.myspace.com/divineheresyband to view their entire tour itinerary and the band will be signing copies of Bringer of Plagues at their merch booth at every show. This stellar package is rounded out with 36 Crazyfists and After The Burial.

Bringer of Plagues was released to rave reviews across the board and debuted at an impressive #148 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. This album is hailed as the most brutal and unrelenting offering of the legendary Cazares’ stellar career. Newcomer Travis Neal (ex-The Bereaved) has undoubtedly proven that he is the perfect fit for the role as he delivers a debut performance for the ages.
Cazares further states: “We have been waiting patiently for the perfect touring opportunity to present itself and I couldn’t possibly be more pleased to have DIVINE HERESY open all of the Fear Factory shows this July. I am excited to pull double duty for the first time and I am relieved that we could finally make this happen. It makes perfect sense for DIVINE HERESY to open for Fear Factory and we promise to deliver a brutal set that is going to annihilate everyone. Be sure to come by the merch booth each night to say hello to us all and we look forward to seeing everyone soon. It’s certainly been way too long.”

Divine Heresy – Travis Neal

Interviewed by Alan Gilkeson

After the unheralded departure of their former lead singer, Divine Heresy sought a vocalist who was not only better with the pipes, but who had it all together in the head. They auditioned many guys and settled on Bereaved front man Travis Neal, a young but motivated talent with the bravado to take on the world. With the recent release of the band’s sophomore effort BRINGER OF PLAGUES, Neal’s first with the band, Divine Heresy has stepped thing up a notch, going full throttle with brutal and extreme music. Combine Neal’s talent with the legend of Dino Cazares, mix in one of the best rhythm sections in Metal with Tim Yeung and Joe Payne, and you’ve got quality of epic proportions. Here’s our interview with Travis…
