Crucified Barbara break up

June 15th, 2016

Hey everyone!

Today we are sad to say that a long journey has come to an end. Crucified Barbara were our dream and you all, made it come true!

The times we’ had together as a band and shared on (and off) stage with you guys, leaves memories that no time can kill.

Our lives have parted and we need to move on. The last years have taken its toll on all of us and the joy of playing together got lost somewhere along the way.
But we are musicians at heart and the last chord is not taken for any of us, so we will probably see each other again, under different circumstances and in other variations.

Thanks to everyone we worked with during the years who believed in us when no one else did.
But without you, our fans, we wouldn’ have seen the beauty and the strength of what rock music can do.

Thank you again for making our dream come true!

All the best and biggest respect!

Crucified Barbara

Interview with Ida Evileye and Mia Coldheart of Crucified Barbara

Conducted by Robert Williams

It’s the middle of a sunny afternoon in March in Austin Texas and I’m at an apartment complex off Riverside Drive hanging poolside at a “Heavy Metal Pool Party” sponsored by the Wacken Open Air Festival. Kadavar, Crashdiet, Crucified Barbara and D-A-D are all performing at today’s event. This is more than just another show for the ladies in Crucified Barbara however, this is their debut performance on North American soil and they couldn’t be more excited to be here. I caught up with bassist Ida Evileye and guitarist and vocalist Mia Coldheart and they filled me on the latest with the band…

CrashDiet and Snakeskyn Whiskey will accompany the Swedish quartet, who will be touring in support of its third full-length record, The Midnight Chase, which released last summer on Nuclear Blast. Additional dates will be announced soon, so keep an eye on the official Crucified Barbara Facebook page: for the latest info.

Formed in Stockholm in 1998 by bassist Ida Evileye and guitarist Klara Force, Crucified Barbara plays a fiery brand of rock ‘n’ roll tinged with metal and lashings of punk, pop, thrash, and more.

Holy red boots of She-Satan – as if this summer wasn’t hot enough already!

CRUCIFIED BARBARA’s new video for “Rock Me Like The Devil” is brimming with fire and a classy Western theme thanks to the great directorial work by 11Frames Productions.  Check out the beautiful evil here:

“Rock Me Like The Devil” is a track off the band’s third studio album, The Midnight Chase, released by Nuclear Blast in July.  You can order the album from Nuclear Blast USA’s Webshop, iTunes and

Formed in Stockholm in 1998 by bassist Ida Evileye and guitarist Klara Force, CRUCIFIED BARBARA play a fiery brand of rock ‘n’ roll tinged with metal and lashings of punk, pop, thrash, and whatever else dares to cross their path.  Ida Evileye dominates her trusty Sandberg bass, Klara Force rocks steady on her ’76 Gibson Explorer, Mia Coldheart belts out her unapologetic vocals while riffing all over her Gibson Gothic Flying V, and Nicki Wicked pounds on her Yamaha Maple drum kit until you’re splayed across the floor with a bull’s-eye knock-out punch that’ll make you spit your teeth out.  Now you know what happens when Motörhead mates with The Runaways.  Hmph.

Check out the video for the track “Into The Fire.”

A lyric video for “Everything We Need” is up on the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel for your sing-along pleasure.

Crucified Barbara – Ida EvilEye

September 18th, 2005

Crucified Barbara being the female band hailing from Sweden is a damn interesting combo playing the catchy hard rock stuff with some punkish elements tied up. The debut album ?IN DISTORTION WE TRUST? is an excellent piece of the great rocking material indeed. Even though the Swedish Metal-Rules.Com contributor recently interviewed the vocalist of Crucified Barbara Mia Coldheart, however it was the turn of the band?s bassist Ida EvilEye to tell a little bit more about the band and tours? Enjoy
