The US Epic Heavy Metallers ETERNAL CHAMPION will release their long awaited debut album titled “The Armor Of Ire”, on September 27, 2016, on No Remorse Records. The album will be available as CD and limited edition LP.
“I Am The Hammer” lyric video:
ETERNAL CHAMPION was formed in 2012 and features members of GRAVEN RITE, IRON AGE and SUMERLANDS. Their barbaric Heavy Metal, inspired by the epic fantasy tales of Michael Moorcock, and savage, pre-Christian war sagas, has been presented on their well received demo “The Last King Of Pictdom” (2013) and the split single with GATEKEPPER, which has been released in 2015.
“The Armor Of Ire” track listing:
1. I Am The Hammer
2. The Armor Of Ire
3. The Last King Of Pictdom
4. Blood Ice
5. The Cold Sword
7. Sing A Last Song Of Valdese
8. Shade Gate
In other news, ETERNAL CHAMPION has been confirmed for the KEEP IT TRUE FESTIVAL XX, which will take place on April 28 and 29, 2017, in Lauda-Konigshofen in Germany, and when the band will share the stage with cult heroes such as MANILLA ROAD, OMEN, Q5 or MEDIEVAL STEEL, as well as other young Metal acts such as NIGHT DEMON or VISIGOTH.
W.A.S.P.’s 1984 self-titled debut is the latest in induction in Decibel magazine’s vaunted “Hall of Fame” series. The heavy metal touchstone – famous for classics “I Wanna Be Somebody” and “F*ck Like a Beast (Animal)” – was the main target of the PMRC 30 years ago.
“We found out the reason the PMRC went after us is because kids knew who we were,” comments frontman Blackie Lawless in the article. “That’s how they work. They go after bands that have visibility. They make it their mission to bring bands down, but I don’t think they were very successful. To this day, what they did was get more kids into music than had they not said a thing. ”
The full seven-page story on the making of W.A.S.P., which includes interviews with every musician who performed on the record, in the September issue of Decibel magazine, which is on newsstands now and available worldwide.
As part of its 35th anniversary celebration, thrash legends ANTHRAX are confirmed to guest on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” Wednesday, August 24 performing their new single, “Monster At The End.” This will be Anthrax’s “Late Night” debut. “Late Night with Seth Meyers” airs on NBC at 12:35AM/11:35PM CT.
“Monster At The End” is from the band’s critically-acclaimed album For All Kings (Megaforce) that impacts at radio on August 16 and has already been added to stations like WJJO/Madison, KILO/Colorado Springs and WQLZ/Springfield. Anthrax will join fellow Big Four members Slayer for a major North American Fall tour that launches September 9.
During their three-and-a-half decades together, Anthrax has sold ten-million units, been awarded Gold and Platinum albums and six Grammy nominations. They are card-carrying members of The Big Four (the sole representatives from the East Coast), and helped break down the race and genre barriers when they collaborated with Public Enemy on “Bring The Noise.” They were the first metal band to have their music played on Mars when NASA played “Got The Time” to wake up the Mars Rover, Curiosity. Author and big Anthrax fan Stephen King included an Anthrax concert in one of his “Dark Tower” series books, and comic book artist Alex Ross has created several Anthrax album covers and t-shirt designs.

The album marked their eOne debut and saw a Top 10 Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart debut, as well as a Top 200 debut. Unearth originally exploded onto the scene with their 2001 debut The Stings of Conscience, and followed with metal favorites The Oncoming Storm and III: In the Eyes of Fire, both of which solidified them as one of the top metal acts of the new millennium. They are currently writing their follow up to Watchers of Rule. Read more about Unearth here.

Darkness Divided will be touring in support of their self-titled sophomore release, heralded by New Noise Magazine as the album that will ‘establish Darkness Divided as major players.” The Texas metal disciples recently released a music video for ‘Back Breaker,’ and will be demonstrating their groove-laden technical metal that refuses to conform to one style.
Tampa, Florida-based death metal legends MORBID ANGEL are proud and excited to announce they have signed with UDR Music for all territories exclusively outside Japan. Featuring founding member and venerated guitar legend Trey Azagthoth, plus returning long-time member bassist/vocalist Steve Tucker, MORBID ANGEL are delighted to be back working with people who know metal music and will ensure the band reaffirms their status as the world’s greatest death metal band.
“We are extremely excited to be in this partnership with UDR,” says Steve Tucker. “We are looking forward to making a great album and destroying the stage at many shows. UDR is a great label that supports the bands that they believe in, and we are proud to be one of those bands! Looking forward to a successful partnership!”
Formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1984, Trey Azagthoth played with several line-ups before joining up with David Vincent and Pete Sandoval from grindcore specialists Terrorizer, as well as Richard Brunelle. It was this line-up that recorded and released the first MORBID ANGEL album in 1989, Altars Of Madness, which is widely recognized as a masterpiece and one of the major cornerstones of death metal music. Their intricate yet incredibly heavy music, featuring Azagthoth’s supremely technical yet ferociously feral guitar work, has seen MORBID ANGEL become one of the top selling death metal bands in the world.
While there are no specific details at this moment, Azagthoth and Tucker both look forward to writing and recording MORBID ANGEL’s ninth studio album, to be released sometime in 2017, and to taking the band back out on tour.
Striking a consistent chord of dark, dissonant death-metal empathy with their loyal fanbase, and with the world in its current state, this is the perfect time for MORBID ANGEL to ascend once more.
Yes, the rumors are true. Metal Blade has managed to find the holy grail of Heavy Metal, the album that hasn’t been available officially for decades, by one of the best Heavy Metal bands of all time – ‘Paradise Lost’ by mighty CIRITH UNGOL!
Initially released in 1991 by Restless Records, Metal Blade has finally been successful in licensing the rights to this masterpiece!
On the 7th of October ‘Paradise Lost’ will be released for the first time ever as an official LP! Besides 180g black vinyl, differend colored and strictly limited versions will be made available: white/black marbled (ltd. 500), brown/black marbled (ltd. 300) and red/white splatter (ltd. 200 – exclusively available through our eBay shop). Additionally, ‘Paradise Lost’ will be available as a Digi-CD for the first time ever, including five previously unreleased bonus tracks! The album is now available for pre-order at metalblade.com/cirithungol – where the classic track “Join the Legion” is also streaming.
The LP will be released featuring a special vinyl master, using the original (!) master tapes as a source, re-mastered by Patrick W. Engel at the Temple Of Disharmony studios, best sound guaranteed! The vinyls feature 400 g spine sleeves, a 12-page booklet and an A1 sized poster.
The Digi-CD has been newly mastered from the original master tapes as well, done by Bart Gabriel. The CD features five bonus tracks (all alternative mixes from album tracks). Both, CD and vinyl, feature previously unreleased photos in the booklet as well as liner notes and song descriptions by band members.
The story of ‘Paradise Lost’ as per Robert Garven (drums):
“The saga of Cirith Ungol’s fourth album is true to its namesake “Paradise Lost”. Like a classic Greek tragedy, it is an epic tale filled with pain, challenges, battles, lost opportunities, and final redemption. It contains a cast of heroes and villains, playing out their parts on a stage of metal, at a time when hair bands and speed metal were in vogue.
The seeds of this project grew from the fertile soil that was the aftermath of “One Foot in Hell”. After its release the band immediately started work on their fourth effort “Paradise Lost”. This was planned to be a concept album, and the album cover and theme had already been selected.
After its release the original record company could not secure distribution in Europe, and they released the band from its 3 album deal. Shortly thereafter, several of the remaining members left out of frustration. However, a few original members kept the fires of Ungol burning, closely guarded in its secret lair. They waited for the time when the stars were right, and the Great Old Ones were ready for it to come crawling out from its ancient crypt, back upon the metal stage. As of this writing, the being called Ungol has arisen to take its rightful place in the pantheon of true metal, and calls forth the Legions of Chaos to stand by their side to usher in its final act.”

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the return of HARDLINE with the brand new album “Human Nature”, set for release on October 14th.
Following the rebirth of the band that happened with the release of “Danger Zone” in 2012, Hardline have regrouped around fabulous singer Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell ) with the excellent production and keyboard skills of Alessandro Del Vecchio (Rated X , Resurrection Kings , Revolution Saints), the shredding talents of guitarist Josh Ramos (The Storm), and the powerful rhythm section made up of bassist Anna Portalupi (Tarja Turunen ) and drummer Francesco Jovino (Primal Fear , JORN ). All these musicians have an impressive pedigree, but what makes Hardline special is how well their unique and different talents blend together.
The goal for their new album was to have a heavier and updated version of the original HARDLINE sound. Think debut album, 1992’s “Double Eclipse” updated for the 21st Century, with a grittier and more straight ahead sound. Anthemic, hard rocking songs are what you can expect from this record and hook after hook, riff after riff, you’ll find yourself wowed by this absolute monster of an album!
When Gioeli and Del Vechhio got together to begin writing songs for the album, “[T]he plan was to create an album that emulates the feeling of “Double Eclipse” combined with the dynamics of modern day rock. Very heavy and in your face, but still with hitting melodies,” says Johnny. “I have a tremendous amount of Axel Rudi Pell fans that know me for the way I deliver a metal song too. So yes, it’s definitely the heaviest we have done since the debut. I see this album as the perfect mix of styles.”
“As a producer I pushed everyone to squeeze these songs and put as much attitude as we could on tape,” adds Alessandro Del Vecchio. “We wanted more of an in-your-face attitude than our softer albums. I think we understood we had something special in our hands when we finished “Take You Home”. Even if it’s the ballad of the album I guess it’s the focal point of the musical bond that Johnny and myself share with the whole band.”
“The guys put their heart and soul into their performances,” concludes Johnny “You can hear the essence of every drum strike and the sweat hitting the drums shortly after. Do it again, Cesco! HARDER, HARDER! Josh, Anna and Ale wouldn’t stop until their fingers said “enough”…and then……we did it again and again. That’s rock and roll man. Songs like “Where Will We Go From Here,” “Human Nature” and “Take you Home,” to me they are the essence of what I LOVE to sing and HOW I love to sing!”
“Human Nature” Track Listing:
1. Where Will We Go From Here
2. Nobody’s Fool
3. Human Nature
4. Trapped In Muddy Waters
5. Running On Empty
6. The World Is Falling Down
7. Take You Home
8. Where The North Wind Blows
9. In The Dead Of The Night
10. United We Stand
11. Fighting The Battle
Johnny Gioeli – Lead Vocals

“BARB WIRE DOLLS are the most explosive and exciting new punk band I’ve seen in decades! They are gonna change the face of music and save rock and roll as we know it!”
– Mickey Leigh/brother of Joey Ramone
“BARB WIRE DOLLS are the new face of Punk. The Dolls deliver real authentic punk rock with 70’s CBGB style swagger with an oversexed frontwoman who makes Debbie Harry in her 70’s prime look downright homely, while singing like Patti Smith channeling Johnny Rotten.”
– Music Entertainment
“If you were bummed that you missed out on the Sex Pistols and Black Flag because you were only one, or not even born yet, here’s your chance to catch one of the best bands playing that style today. From their music to their attitude, BARB WIRE DOLLS embody that same spirit of the late ’70s punk scene.”
– Washington Times

BARB WIRE DOLLS are one of the most vital new bands in music today, representing all that is inspiring and furious about rock and roll. The band intelligently weaves sub-genres of punk, grunge, and metal, producing an urgent sound that is truly unique. Hailing from an artist commune on the island of Crete, the band sold everything they owned and left crisis-ridden Greece in 2010 for Los Angeles, at the invite of legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer. Upon their arrival in California, BARB WIRE DOLLS immediately sold out the world famous Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, boasting a live show that is second to none.
Electrifying rock of this magnitude did not go unnoticed by the elder statesman of the Sunset Strip, the incomparable, irreplaceable Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead. After seeing BARB WIRE DOLLS live, Lemmy took an immediate interest in the band and placed them under his supportive wing.
Desperate contains gripping rock tracks, empowering anthems, and hard-edged thrashers, all performed with the classic punk rock energy the band has become internationally known for. As members of Motörhead Music, BARB WIRE DOLLS are represented by Lemmy’s long-time manager Todd Singerman, Motörhead’s booking agents, and parent label UDR/Warner Music Group. Desperate’s release through Motörhead Music serves as an edgy, thrilling first chapter in the life of a label whose mission is to present the most fiery new bands in rock and roll.
Recorded at Sonic Ranch (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ministry, Gogol Bordello) and NRG (Motörhead, Foo Fighters, No Doubt) studios, Desperate was produced and mixed by Grammy award-winning producer Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil) and mastered by Grammy award-winning mastering engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana’s Nevermind, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik, U2’s Pop).
Fronted by the whip-smart vocal and fashion icon Isis Queen (named after the Greek Goddess herself), BARB WIRE DOLLS’ dynamic musicianship is blasted forth by former pro surfer and skateboarder Pyn Doll on lead guitar, Krash Doll on drums, Iriel Blaque on bass and Remmington on rhythm guitar.
Since forming, the band has gone on to melt ears and hearts on 700 stages across 22 countries in just under five years – consistently selling out club dates in America, the UK and Europe. Desperate is releasing in conjunction with the band’s debut performance at Germany’s Wacken Open Air, the largest metal festival in the world.
Out to take over the punk rock scene while smashing all misconceptions about women in rock today, BARB WIRE DOLLS’ cultural and musical immediacy is not to be missed.

“I’m gonna hit the highway and never look back” is the line that launches AIRBOURNE’s latest, tarmac-trashin’ single “Breakin’ Outta Hell.”
The lyric video accompanying the song -created by Richard Oakes from Dark Fable Media- may have implications for those with easy access to open roads.
Watch the clip from start to finish and you might just get the urge to open the throttle.
“We get a lot of feedback from our fans saying how much they love the faster tracks,” says AIRBOURNE frontman Joel O’Keeffe. “But when they play them in the car… well, it can be tough on their pocket with all the speeding fines! ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ is definitely one of THOSE numbers… even the guys who filmed the lyric video were stopped by the police and given a fine.
“For us, these visuals really sum up the feeling behind the song and the album, too. The whole message is right there. Put on the single, or the album, and it’s, ‘Fuck the boss and fuck all the tax I owe. I’m going out, I’m getting pissed and I’m going to listen to some hard rock ‘n’ roll.’ No ballads, no bullshit. I’m breaking out of hell!”
“Breakin’ Outta Hell” is the title track of AIRBOURNE’s fourth studio album, which is due out via Spinefarm Records on September 23. It was produced by Bob Marlette. This 11-track release sees the Australian band driving their party-starting prowess to even greater heights, supported by a world tour.
AIRBOURNE is brothers Joel & Ryan O’Keeffe, vocalist/lead guitarist and drummer, respectively, plus guitarist David Roads and bassist Justin Street.

Iggor Cavalera adds, “I am very proud to play Roots again, to reaffirm that after 20 years, it still moves people! We hit the stage again with Roots to destroy everywhere we pass by!”
Max & Iggor Cavalera are the original founding members of influential RIAA Gold-Certified Brazilian heavy metal legends Sepultura, and specifically the team behind the band’s early albums, including seminal releases Arise, Chaos A.D. and Roots. Since the band’s formation over 30 years ago, the Cavalera brothers have each seen unparalleled successes in the music industry. Max’s more recent work with Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy (also featuring Iggor) and Killer Be Killed, in addition to Iggor’s project MIXHELL, proves the lasting power of the Cavalera legacy.
Later this year, Warner Music will release a special vinyl edition of Roots, in addition to a CD/vinyl box set of classic Sepultura records, with more surprises in store. Stay tuned for a full announcement on the new editions, coming soon.

About Multiple Sclerosis
Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system.
MS interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body and stops people from moving.
Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The advancement, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with more than twice as many women as men being diagnosed with the disease.
MS affects more than 400,000 people in the U.S. and 2.1 million worldwide.
About Rock Against MS Foundation, 501c3
In its finishing stages, the ROCK AGAINST MS FOUNDATION will provide services from a three (3) grant resource system, which will provide daily care, quality of life needs and emergency funding, while assisting people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to live independent and full lives. Additionally, a brick and mortar facility we will call THE ROCK HOUSE is in the planning stages, and will provide free of charge, multiple programs and opportunities designed to heal the mind, body and spirit of all those whose lives have been affected by MS.
One thing you won’t ever catch DEE SNIDER doing is being complacent. “I’ve never been about living in the past,” Snider says. “The past is wonderful to reflect on and enjoy, but for me, I’d rather show you the latest thing I’ve been working on. I’m all about looking ahead, and this new record is very much about me moving forward.”
DEE’s vibrant new solo album, WE ARE THE ONES, is due out in October on Red River Records (Distributed by BFD/RED). Produced by Grammy®, Emmy® and Oscar® winning song writer, Damon Ranger, WE ARE THE ONES crackles with modern energy, from the call-to-arms manifesto of “Rule the World,” to the anthemic bonding of “So What” (complete with, yes, a string section) to the intensely synth driven “Close to You,” to the thematically soaring “Superhero” (a song tailor-made for running over the end credits of the next Marvel or DC movie blockbuster if ever there was one). Another significant highlight of the album is a newly re-recorded acoustic version of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” which has also been tapped the official anthem for The Recording Academy’s advocacy efforts, including the “Fair Play Fair Pay” Act. Recently performed in Washington D.C. at the annual GRAMMYs On The Hill event, a video of the song premiered earlier today on Entertainment Weekly’s website HERE and can now be viewed at Grammy.com/FairPlayFairPay.
Also featured is an explosive cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like A Hole.” “I always thought it was a great song, a powerful song,” DEE explains, “I can’t wait to do that one live. Like ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ is iconic, ‘Head Like a Hole’ is iconic for that era.”
With Twisted Sister effectively entering the rearview mirror, DEE now has his sights dead-set on his new musical direction. “You can’t expect others to embrace what you do if you don’t embrace it yourself,” he admits. “I have to believe it first before I can expect anybody else to believe it. When you’re creating a new record, you want to make a statement, and you want to have music you can stand behind and feel strongly about. So it was a little unnerving when I started heading down this path. After Damon and I cut the first four tracks, I said, ‘Oh yeah, there is a place for me here.’ This is music I feel excited about, and I also look forward to playing it live.”
Earlier this summer, DEE took part in the unveiling of the new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exhibit, “Louder Than Words: Rock, Power And Politics,” which will remain on display in Cleveland during the 2016 Republican National Convention. To commemorate the new Hall of Fame exhibit, DEE performed a new acoustic version of Twisted Sister’s legendary song, “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” This moving new version of DEE’s epic anthem is currently available on iTunes.
In April 2016, DEE was called to Capitol Hill for the second time—the first at the infamous 1985 Senate hearing instigated by Tipper Gore and the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC)–to speak on behalf of The Recording Academy’s “Fair Play Fair Pay” initiative. On September 18, DEE will be presenting his new music at Riot Fest at Douglas Park in Chicago, IL.
DEE is unapologetically energized about where he’s going as an artist. “Music inspires that genuine enthusiasm. I’m not anti the past — I’m just not one of those guys sitting there singing about the glory days. To me, these are the glory days, and the days to come are the glory days. And this new record is the part of my next glory days.”
It sure is. WE ARE THE ONES opens an exciting new chapter in the ongoing, never-ending glorious saga of DEE SNIDER. And that’s how you come to rule the world.
The saviours of heavy metal, and one of the most influential bands for over 20 years in metal, are finally back! HAMMERFALL, who recently signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records, have just left the studio and are about to release their hotly anticipated masterpiece in form of the band’s upcoming 10th album, which marks their strongest work to date in their successful career and history. Sold out shows and headlining tours all over the world, HAMMERFALL stand for powerful, majestic and melodic heavy metal. The memorable choruses, straight and heavy riffs, thundering drums, pounding bass power and outstanding vocals have already and without a doubt became metal hymns for eternity. Their unstoppable creations reigned in a time when none cared about classical Heavy Metal, HAMMERFALL have and will always deserve credit for bringing the melodies back to metal music. 20 years later and with their upcoming studio album, HAMMERFALL prove that they still own the throne of heavy metal!
HAMMERFALL guitarist Oscar Dronjak comments: “Built To Last is our 10th studio album in 19 years, incredibly enough, but I think we sound more alive and vibrant than ever before! We have worked our asses off to make sure this album is a worthy successor to (r)Evolution, and I have no doubt in my mind that we have created one of the strongest records we have ever done. I am immensely proud and excited about this album, and I am confident all our Templars of Steel will agree once they hear it in November.”
Today the band has unveiled the title, artwork and track listing for their upcoming album, which will be titled Built To Last and will be released November 4th 2016 on Napalm Records.
The stunning artwork was designed by Andreas Marschall:
The Track Listing for Built To Last will read as follows:

3) The Sacred Vow
4) Dethrone And Defy
