Yes there was more. But we only have a few words to say about it. As mentioned previously, a few of the bands on the festival bill and organizers had partied into the early morning on Sunday and came up with the idea to do a hang over at party at Dicken’s on Sunday night. It was a quieter show with people having to work on Monday and many were perhaps even too hung over to get themselves out to another show. The bands just wanted to play and they had a good time on stage. Calgary’s Vile Insignia started off the night and were followed up by Vicious from Nova Scotia. Vicious had played on Thursday night at Vern’s and we had heard good things but missed the set so they were a big reason to go out again. Even with the looming work day (but really everyone’s sleep schedule was already off so you might as well see some more metal). Midnight Malice played another incredible set and there was tons of hair whipping around. Panzerfaust capped off the night with a set that they may have played even better than the night before. It was an oddly relaxing way to ease back into the real world after CMF.
