The last twenty one years has seen the reign of the UK’s black metal kings Hecate Enthroned, who during in their lengthy reign have released five stunningly brilliant albums, the most recent of which is their guitar driven masterpiece Virulent Rapture. Having played four UK shows in support of the new album, Virulent Rapture, last year the legendary black metal sextet are pleased to announce their only show in England this year, making it one of two UK shows.
Hecate Enthroned will play Basement (formerly Shades Nightclub) in Bridlington, East Yorkshire on 19th July. This will also be the band’s first show in East Yorkshire in over three years. The last the band played in East Yorkshire was at the Metieval Requiem in April 2011 where they joined bands such as Skyclad, Alice In Thunderland, XIII and Northern Oak.
Supporting Hecate Enthroned in Bridlington will be northern black metal coven Old Corpse Road. Joining them as supports will be special guests Wretched Soul and Verdelet, as well as Leeds-based death metal titans Lammergeier.
