Day 3
our goodbye
After another hot bacon and eggs breakfast, we set off to the festival area one last time. Arriving early to guarantee a good spot for PAGAN’S MIND we were greeted by an almost pristine festival ground – there had been a major clean up leaving no trace of the litter which covered every inch of the ground the night before.
After so much rain, the ground was also oddly dry; at least we didn’t have to wade through mud to get to the stage.

PAGAN’S MIND
While watching the band set up, I was surprised at how early the singer emerged from the dressing room, walking around videoing everyone, meanwhile another band member was updating the band’s Facebook page announcing the live stream of the show.

Ray
Last day at Graspop and we decided to stay longer than we had planned after finding out that

Songs performed included Intermission, Celestial Calling, Dimensions of Fire, the instrumental Eyes of Fire and Through Osiris Eyes.

After the PAGAN’S MIND set, I handed in my locker key and signed off for the festival leaving behind a day of some cool metal bands, including Kreator, Rob Zombie, Soilwork, Amorphis and Moonsorrow, but all of which I had already seen.
