MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Paul Allender, world-renowned guitarist for the British extreme metal act Cradle Of Filth, has updated his online store with the first t-shirt design from his graphic design company Vomitorium. The “Cthulhu” is available as a men’s t-shirt or women’s tank top at: http://www.ed-stone.com/store/allendervomitorium. The first 100 Vomitorium customers will receive a signed “Cthulhu Rising” glossy print.
“I’ve always been interested in the darker side of art,” said Allender. “I first got involved in art when I was a kid. My dad taught me how to oil paint, and from then on I was kind of hooked. I did a lot of watercolors, and when I started my secondary school, airbrushing took over. I did a lot of album covers for friends, leather jackets, etc., and a couple of car hoods. From there I went into Photoshop and the digital realm.”
Allender’s art has already been featured in such graphic design publications as Expose 5 and Revolution Art, and he will be a featured artist at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon in Los Angeles this September.
Aside from pursuing his art career, Allender has been hard at work advancing his musical career. Recently he has been collaborating with close friend DJ Unwind on a project of hauntingly hypnotic electronic/rock hybrid compositions. The first track “Indigo” can be streamed online at: http://djunwind.bandcamp.com/track/indigo-feat-paul-allender-timotha-lanae.
