Interview with Stryper guitarist Oz Fox
conducted by Robert Williams
The yellow and black attack otherwise known as Stryper has been dishing out and delivering their distinct brand of hard rocking Christian metal for going on thirty years now. With the release of the band’s latest studio effort "The Covering" the band showcases the secular hard rock and heavy metal music they grew up with, paying tribute to their peers from metal’s heyday in the eighties with faithful interpretations of songs by the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne and so on. Taking a quick time out on the band’s tour bus, longtime Stryper lead guitarist Oz Fox took the time to fill us in on the band’s new album, as well as a trip or two down memory lane.
