Duff McKagan is obviously ever-famous as the bassist in the classic Guns N’ Roses-line-up and Velvet Revolver. But since 2008, his own project Loaded has also progressed impressively. With this band, originally formed as early as 1999, Duff handles vocals and rhythm guitar. The sound is rough and rugged hard-rock with strong punk-influences, and the band names the Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy and Black Flags among their influences. Loaded have so far recorded three full-length albums, most recently “The taking” which will be released this April. However, they are primarily a live act, and what makes their SRF-debut even more anticipated is that this will be Duff’s first SRF appearance ever!
