HAMMERFALL: NEXT ONLINE CHAT SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW

Guitarist Oscar Dronjak of the Swedish heavy metal band HAMMERFALL will be hosting the band’s next online chat from the studio tomorrow, Thursday, February 3rd, at 9 a.m. PACIFIC / 12 p.m. EASTERN / 6 p.m. (18:00) CET.  The online event will take place at the Nuclear Blast Streaming Room at this location: www.nuclearblast.de/streamingroom

HAMMERFALL have begun mixing their new album with producer James Michael (Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, SIXX:AM, Meat Loaf).  The as-yet-untitled new release is the follow-up to 2009’s No Sacrifice, No Victory (which debuted at #38 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart) and will be available in Europe on May 20th.  A summer release date in North America is expected.

No Sacrifice, No Victory achieved gold status in Sweden for sales in excess of 20,000 copies.  The album registered the following first-week chart positions in Europe: #2 in Sweden, #7 in Germany, #20 in Switzerland, #21 in the U.K. (Indie Albums chart), #25 in Austria, #46 in Norway, and #95 in France.

THIRD IN-STUDIO HAMMERFALL FAN CHAT NOW ONLINE; TWO MORE CHATS SCHEDULED

Guitarist Pontus Norgren and vocalist Joacim Cans of the Swedish heavy metal band HAMMERFALL just finished hosting the third in a series of live, online chats with fans from the studio.  They discussed their upcoming video, Spanish horror movies, Joacim’s vocal beginnings at age 21, and Belgian beer.  Pontus Norgren also played some impromptu acoustic songs for the audience to guess the titles of.  View the recorded chat here.
