Before a performance in Chicago, Karl Sanders, leadman for the Egyptian-themed Death Metal band NILE, takes a break from practicing his chops to talk to Hank Pearl of THE DAILY ROCK (http://www.thedailyrock.com) about the greatness that is the National Geographic channel and how it has been inspiring new lyrics. He also discusses new ideas for future music videos and Sanders jams throughout. Sanders also mentions the appearance of gothic belly-dancers as part of the band’s demographic of fanfare as well as why the band refrains from dressing up as Pharaohs and mummies for sake of their music’s thematic imagery.
