Cradle of Filth - 'Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa'

In the new video Dani and the rest of the band discuss how they work, their history, their plans for the future and some of the controversy that has followed them through their career.

In addition to this video the mini-site features also info about the album, a gallery featuring new band pics and elements from the album artwork, a link to download a MP3 of the track Lilith Immaculate, downloads and more. A preview of Deceiving Eyes, a new track from the album, is also streaming on the mini-site. The track is also playing on the band’s iPhone app. A different track from the album is added to the site every Wednesday in the lead up to release on November 1st (November 9th in USA).

Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa, released on the band’s own AbraCadaver imprint through Peaceville Records and through Nuclear Blast in the USA, is the band’s ninth studio album and has been described by Rocksound as displaying:

“a masterful control over the multi-faceted Cradle Of Filth sound; brutal vocal gymnastics, skull-rattling double-kicks, symphonic flourishes, dramatic narrative and balls-out axe-slinging all make their presence known, but in a manner which routinely serves to bolster the coherency of the greater whole…this fucking slays.” (9/10)
