The Argentinian band AZEROTH will release its third studio album “Historias y Leyendas” – “Stories and Legends” on July 20th. This album has been recorded at the Virtual Studios in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and it presents a new formation: Fernando Ricciardulli (founder member and composer of the band) on the bass, the participation of Christian Bertoncelli (Renacer, Imperio) as vocalist, and the new members: Mario Dorantes on the guitar, Angel Montagner also playing the guitar, Alfredo Mondragón on the drums and Luigi Mondragón on the keyboards.
The new CD, totally produced and composed by Fernando Ricciardulli, has been mixed and masterized by Emiliano Obregon of Virtual Studios. The cover was designed by the Swedish artist Rudolf Hergzog.
“I think that the work done by Rudolf is amazing. At last we could have total control when taking decisions, and I believe that collaborating with this great Swedish artist has been a wise choice.”
“Historias y Leyendas” will be available in digital format on July 20th by Duskwood Records. In Argentina , it will be released already in CD format by Hurling Metal Records on August, and its release in Mexico , Spain and Japan (among others) is being discussed.
Besides, AZEROTH has recorded a promotional video clip (an unprecedented fact for the band until now) of the song “La promesa” – “The promise”.
01. Cámara de reflexión (Reflection chamber)
02. La promesa (The promise)
03. Sombras del terror (Horror shadows)
04. Al final te alcanzaré (In the end I will reach you)
05. The old ways
06. Leyenda negra (Black legend)
07. Sólo una chance (Just one chance)
08. El fin de los tiempos (The end of time)
09. Mensajero (Messenger)
About the subjects dealt with in the new CD, Fernando Ricciardulli says: “in this album, the lyrics found their basis in some historical facts, particularly as the Holocaust (“Sombras del terror” – “Horror shadows”) or the Inquisition (“Leyenda negra” – “Black legend”), as well as stories or legends of everyday life. “Cámara de reflexión” – “Reflection Chamber” talks about a person deprived of his freedom; “La promesa” – “The promise” is a very personal story about a moment on which I had to be far away from my daughter…”
