After 6 long years Heart return with the highly anticipated RED VELVET CAR. On this release they get more personal and take a more mellow approach. If you are looking for new songs similar to classics such as “Barracuda” and “Crazy On You” then you will be totally disappointed with RED VELVET CAR. The closest you will get is on “WTF” which is still a far cry from those classic tunes.

The songs on RED VELVET CAR are more personal and the lyrics reflect upon the times in which they were written. This more personal approach makes for a more relaxed album that makes you want to sit back, relax, get a large glass of wine and listen rather than crank it up and rock out.

A nice sounding album that is for diehard Heart fans only or for those that want a nice disc to relax with. Either way it is an album that is worth a listen.
