Another fine release from the folks at Eagle Rock Ent. Eagle Rock are becoming known for releasing high quality music products and this title is no exception. A double DVD set  of footage of one of the premier blues rock bands of all time.

The early footage of Paul Rodgers and company is a real treat. Hearing and seeing them perform such classics as “Mr. Big” (from which the band Mr. Big took their name) to the infamous “All Right Now” your senses are in for a treat. The young Rodgers has his signature gravely voice but not as polished of a singer that he will later become. From a musical standpoint they are on top of their game, especially Simon Kirke who just hangs his head down and just bashes away at the drum kit. After viewing this you will know why he has been heralded as one of Rock’s greatest drummers. The late Paul Kossoff armed with a Les Paul and stack of amps lays down some brilliant guitar work that helped build the Hard Rock and Metal genres.

As you’d come to expect with early footage, some of the quality is not the greatest but it doesn’t deter from its impact. A highly recommended set for Classic Rock fans and young aspiring guitarists.
