The ultimate metal festival of Cyprus is back – bigger and better!

PITCH BLACK RECORDS is thrilled to be co-organising this year’s Power of the Night Festival, now in its fifth instalment.

For the first time since its inception, the festival will be held over two days and will include international bands as well. Along with nine local metal acts, the first day will see Greek epic metallers MARAUDER headlining while the second day will have all speakers blown by ROSS THE BOSS with special guest SCOTT COLUMBUS, both legendary of course, well known for their tremendous contribution to MANOWAR.

All the ingredients of a metal festival will be there, from hot dogs and an endless flow of beer to band merchandise and of course good LOUD music, guaranteeing two days of absolute fun and metal mayhem!

The full line-up is as follows:

Friday 23 July:
Marauder (GR)
Arryan Path (CY)
Zenith (CY)
Hardraw (CY)
Metal Blade (CY)
Temple of Evil (CY)

Saturday 24 July:
Ross the Boss w/ special guest Scott Columbus (USA)
R.U.S.T. (CY)
Winter’s Verge (CY)
Solitary Sabred (CY)
Teror (CY)

Metal fans from abroad who will be enjoying the Cyprus sun during those days are invited to get in touch with Pitch Black Records for more information and to purchase their tickets through the label’s site.

The festival will take place at the University of Cyprus yard in Nicosia with gates opening at 17:30. Tickets are just 20EUR for both days and all tickets sold will be entered into a draw for an electric guitar.

Like every year the festival is dedicated in memory of those lost in traffic accidents, this year however it’s also dedicated to a special someone else; someone who still lives deep inside every metal fan’s heart…
