MOONSPELL Stamp From Portuguese Postal Service

Portuguese metallers MOONSPELL have issued the following update:

“The Portuguese Postal Service (CTT, Correios de Portugal) will issue a collection of stamps that represent the most significant rock moments and records from Portugal. (Moonspell’s 1995 album) Wolfheart was chosen and it will have an official stamp of itself, reproduced below.

This is an official stamp and it will be sold in every post office in the Portuguese territory from July 19th on and it costs 1€ and it can be used as national and international postage.

Being that the whole of our carreer kickstarted as penfriends and tapetraders we could not think of a more perfect and suitable distinction. In three days we share the stage with FAITH NO MORE and ALICE IN CHAINS in Optimus Alive Lisbon.

In the meanwhile the band is working on their new album, “the most exciting, sexier, darker, heavier and catchier stuff we wrote in ages!”

The album is due to be released in 2011. You can catch the band live at Summer Festivals and on the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise in January 2011.”
