Gothenburg, Sweden’s five-piece of heavy metal crusaders, Hammerfall, recently returned to the United States for their first headlining tour of North America in support of last year’s incredibly successful "No Sacrifice, No Victory" album, their seventh full-length record for Nuclear Blast Records. Hammerfall are no strangers themselves to touring in the U.S. having previously warmed up the stage on previous outings for veteran acts like Death and Dio and most recently performing alongside Edguy several years ago, but this time Hammerfall are at the top of the bill, and who can argue after the band has spent the last thirteen years proving themselves with their distinctive brand of classic and often melodic heavy metal. Hammerfall vocalist Joacim Cans recently took the time to talk metal with Metal-Rules.com and filled us in on the bands current activities and life on the road.
