Spark It Up

An interesting collection of music from this < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />New Jersey group. The music has a bit of the early Sabbath/Purple sound to it for the most part while at other times it is sort of funky like the Chili Peppers. Vocally it is very Joplin-esque without allot of the rasp. Mix it all up and you have a unique product that is pleasant to the ears. One of the standout tracks on the release is “Say Whatcha Mean” with it’s funky beat and heavy guitar riffs. Slightly different from what you are used to hearing.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Whether it’s a heavy sounding track or a funky little number the constant remains the same and that is Elaine’s stellar vocals. She is easily the first thing you will notice upon listening to this great album.
