Doin’ You Nasty

An energetic yet simple rock record comes our way from < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sweden’s Babylon Bombs. The four piece band delivers a familiar sound but in a fresh new way that is somewhat hard to pinpoint and describe.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

From the opening chords of “Jaded Heart” right on through to the last notes of “Moonshine Beat” you, the listener get one helluva rock and roll party record (think AC/DC on LA’s Sunset Strip). The songs are all upbeat with great drum grooves, guitars and vocals. They come off almost anthem-like at times. Song’s like “Hometown Hero” will echo in your head long after you eventually stop listening to the disc. The opening cut (“Jaded Heart”) is one of the stand out tracks on here along with “Let It Loose” and “Cut You Down” with its bluesy guitar riffs.

A straightforward rock record that you have to crank up at the next party, crack open some beers and enjoy!
