Lead vocals and angry guitar riffs dominate the production and in some songs members from both Flogging Molly and The Pogues make guest appearances. The 13 tracks are delivered in a really fast tempo and the lyrics seem to very political with titles like “There is a Power in the
Even if the music and songs are quite simple, it’s really catchy and definitely a party starter. The album works both as a wake up call and as drinking buddy without a doubt.
It’s really fun to hear such a great album in these soft-punk-bands days; I highly recommend it to fans of above mentioned bands. Killer tracks are “Common People”, “Not without a Purpose”, “Power in a Union”, “Tobe’s got a Drinking Problem”, “Shards of Life”, “Sell Your Lies”, “Hardluck Kid”, and “Final Transmission”.
