Rating: 3.5

Filmed in < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Amsterdam on their 25th Anniversary tour this concert DVD captures the essence that is Toto. It’s all here in crystal clear picture and sound; from “Rosanna” to “Africa” to a cover of the late great George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. Steve’s guitar playing is excellent as usual and the other band members hold their own. Lukather is clearly the driving force behind the group. It is their “Hits” that are what stands out here. The others are good both musically and performance-wise but not up  to a stand out level.

There are many “Extra” features to this disc that give the viewer a sneak peek into the day to day goings on of a touring musician. Some of the backstage footage is quite humourous. We get to see them practicing, doing sound checks and even having dinner. An interesting journey into their day to day lives.

A good disc overall and worth it if you are a fan of Toto. Even the casual fan like myself will also enjoy it.
