Stone In The Sand

2006, Linus Ent.
Rating: 4.5/5

Right from the start of this CD you are caught by the great hooks and melodies. They incorporate classic rock sounds and mix it with a bit of a modern edge. This hold especially true on their version of The Kinks classic “I Need You”, while you can easily tell it is a Kinks tune but they have just updated it ever so slightly to bring it into the new millennium.

Mic’l Wolf’s voice is fantastic and it is perfectly suited to this style and sound of Rock. It is smooth enough to pull off the slower numbers but still maintaining a bit of the edge needed to cut through the heavier, fast paced rockers.

This is one band that deserves to be heard.
