The Big Picture

2006, Kindling Music

Rating: 3.5/5

One of < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Toronto’s hottest bands at the moment have just released this ten track disc of powerhouse Rock and Roll. Despite allot of hardships the band has encountered over the last couple of years they carried on to deliver us this fine release.

A strong collection of greatly written rock tracks that are perfectly suited for today’s Rock Radio. You can easily picture these songs being played right along side the likes of Theory of a Deadman, Nickleback,…. There is a lot of modern influence on the album and very little classic sound, if any. It is slightly refreshing to hear but there is nothing about it that reaches out to grab you upon the first listen.

The band are excellent musicians but it is the overall sound that is lacking. A fine disc if you like the modern rock genre.
