Misfits Meet The Nutley Brass
Fiend Club Lounge
Released: Misfits Records / Ryko, 2005
Rating: 3/5

This Misfits tribute is done in the form of well thought out and very well executed instrumentals. As the title suggests it is done lounge style. This is not necessarily how you?d expect a tribute to the Horror-Punk to be. Once you give it a listen you can simply see how this style actually crosses over and fits the songs well.

A couple of the discs hilights are ?Last Caress? with its catchy rhythm and hauntingly amazing piano of ?Some Kinda Hate?. Both will captivate your ears and even though you may despise this genre of music you cannot help but continue listening. You have to give credit where it?s due and this offering is due its credit. The performers are top notch and did an extrodinary job in giving a slight twist to these classic songs.

It?s a nice disturbing journey that will be much appreciated at your next Halloween get together without offending your friends.
