Best thing about working for MR: Meet and talk to bands, help bands get exposure; help fans see their favorite bands, help spread the word of METAL!

Worst thing about working for MR: None.

How/when you first got into metal: Early 80’s.

Favorite Metal Genre(s): Classic heavy metal! But I also love Death, Black Metal, Thrash, Doom, Power Metal, 80’s metal glam, etc …

Least favorite Metal Genre(s):  Nu metal / mallcore crap!

First Metal CD ever bought: You mean cassette? Well, the first ever set of cassettes I bought were Bon Jovi, RATT and Motley Crue.

First Metal concert: Death and Sepultura mid 80’s.

Band or other music experience: I play keyboards in a heavy metal band called Witches Mark.

Favorite bands/artists:
King Diamond!!!!  My list is endless, but here are a few…. Mercyful Fate, Siebenburgen, Marduk, Ancient, Hecate Enthroned, Dark Funeral, Lunaris, Running Wild, Judas Priest, In Extremo, Iron Maiden, Deicide, Naglfar, Morbid Angel, Absu, V2, Nile, Arcturus, Nevermore, Balsagoth, Children of Bodom, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Mania, Sonata Arctica, Sinergy, Diabolical Masquerade, Witchery, Slayer, Hammerfall, Hypocrisy, Immortal, Savatage, Celtic Frost, Hate Eternal, Dimmu Borgir, Moonsorrow, Nocturnal Rites, Hallows Eve, Limbonic Art, Omen, Einherjer, Overkill, Znowhite, Coroner, November’s Doom, Venom, Dio, Rage, Scorpions, Vintersorg, Death, Cradle of Filth, Kataklysm, Mayhem, Twin Obscenity, Grim Reaper, Suicidal Tendencies, Mithotyn, Testament, Abigor, Anacrusis, Old Man’s Child, Anorexia Nervosa, Borknagar, Cannibal Corpse, Oliver Magnum, Dimmu Borgir, Killer Dwarfs, Mortician, Satyricon, My Dying Bride, Emperor, Rotting Christ, Sinister, Vader, Dangerous Toys, Amon Amarth, Therion, Abyssos, etc.

Least favorite bands/artists: There are bands/artists that used to rule the Metal land, bringing forth incredibly loud and heavy music to the masses. But then one day they decided to cut their hair, change their sound, star in a reality show, re-record album tracks for the sake of not paying royalty fees to original musicians, collaborating with rap artists and stating “We are not a heavy metal band”. These types of bands, for the most part, have lost my respect and continue to collect dust in my cd collection.

Most overrated bands/artists:  Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne.

Most underrated bands/artists:  Krisiun, Nevermore

CD you hate to admit is part of your collection: Madonna.

Spoken Languages: English, Spanish

Hobbies: Filming, video editing, photography, movies, books, concerts, music, travel

Pet peeves: Slow drivers, ignorance, rude and annoying people, people talking on their cell phones and driving slow, hypocritical, racists, two-faced,  stupidity, stubborn, conceited,  self-centered, bitchy,  close minded, back stabbers, cheaters, posers… to sum it all, I hate people that are…breathing.
