Parthenopean Epic Black Metallers SCUORN reveal a new lyric video for the song ‘Tarantella Nera’, the fourth single from the critically acclaimed debut album ‘PARTHENOPE’, released worldwide in 2017 via Dusktone.
Watch the video here:
The song ‘Tarantella Nera’ is focused on the most popular Roman god of pleasure, ecstasy, wine and fertility, Bacchus.
The inhabitants of the ancient Neapolis worshipped him by holding parades in his honor consisting of euphoric dances and singing. People participating in parades would dress up in animal skins and priestesses (the ‘Maenads’) danced in a mad trance. The famous Neapolitan traditional folk dance ‘Tarantella’ originated from these ancient pagan rituals.
Official Lyric Video produced by the Italian artist Goffredo Passi at EstremArte videoproduzioni.
Recorded, mixed and mastered at world famous 16th Cellar Studio in Rome by Stefano ‘Saul’ Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance).
Featuring special guest orchestrals by Riccardo Studer (Time Collapse Recording Studio) from Italian Extreme Epic Metal pioneers Stormlord.
