ALESTORM frontman Christopher Bowes had the following to say about PaganFest America Part III: “Ahoy there, fuckwads and gobshites. Am I allowed to say ‘fuckwad’? Who cares… Anyway, just giving all you North American types a reminder to get your shit-proof pants on, ‘cos I’m confident that the upcoming PaganFest America tour is gonna make you all crap yourselves with joy. ALESTORM are gonna be onstage every night out-partying and out-drinking everyone there, especially all you Viking lightweights! You wanna take that challenge? Then get your asses down to a show and show us you’re better!” Adds ARKONA vocalist Masha “Scream” Arhipova, “We saw that you, our North American fans, know and support us; we saw that you know and love our songs; we saw that you want us to come again. That’s why we decided to come back to North America, after our amazing tour with Korpiklaaini, to play again for you!” Adds HUNTRESS vocalist Jill Janus, “HUNTRESS is thrilled to join the PaganFest America tour this year! We’re honored to share the stage with Turisas, ALESTORM, and ARKONA. This is our first festival tour before our debut album is released Spring/Summer 2012 on NAPALM RECORDS. Being true pagans ourselves, we shall enjoy all the hedonistic revelry PaganFest brings!”

Newly signed NAPALM recording artists EX DEO were previously reported to be taking part of Paganfest America III but recently had to drop off, as EX DEO’s Maurizio Iacono comments: “It is with deep disappointment that I am obliged to pull EX DEO off this year’s PaganFest. We were all excited to play this festival and premier some new material, but unfortunately our new album Caligvla has been delayed, and we need to finish it and make it perfect. Add to that, the Kataklysm DVD is also on its final production phase. We decided it would be best to concentrate on giving every bit of attention to the album you have been waiting for, and also for the Kataklysm documentary to kick major ass. “This being said, we will still perform with EX DEO on the Montreal & Toronto shows with PaganFest, as we will be in studio in the area, closing up the album Caligvla. Everything else is cancelled for EX DEO. We will return to support the album in the fall…. Word from Rome is that the plans are already in motion for world conquest! We ask our fans to support PaganFest and the great bands playing this year!”

In conjunction with Guitar World, Full Metal Jackie, and, exclusive PaganFest contests and behind-the-scenes content from all the bands on this epic bill will be launched in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
