“Poland’s death- and black-metal-underground is bubbling hotter than lava in hell! AZARATH is an abominable beast, created with black magic, blasphemy and oversized death-lust. It just needs some seconds of listening to the destructive sounds of AZARATH for freezing and even crushing every kind of felicitousness. Razorblade-like guitars harmonize with distinctive high-speed-drums, played by nobody else than Inferno – the superb drummer of Behemoth, and build up a glorious manifest of epic brutality. On their current longplayer titled “Blasphemers’ Maledictions”, these squadrons of darkness also catch the listeners with apocalyptic sound-trips leading them to the underworld. Get ready for this burning cracker at HATEFEST tour!” (

“Blasphemers’ Maledictions” was recorded in January and February in famous Hertz Studio (Behemoth, Vader, Lost Soul) where Wiesławscy Bros were responsible for production, mixing and mastering duties. Cover artwork and layout was painted and designed by Zbigniew M. Bielak (Absu, Watain, Destroyer666, Autopsy) –

Fifth Azarath album was released worldwide by Witching Hour Productions on 29th June 2011 as exclusive digibook and limited 12” LP. Under this link you can listen to one of the new songs „Behold The Satan’s Sword”:
